Kopice (German: ''Koppitz'', 1936-1945 ''Schwarzengrund'') is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Grodków, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It lies approximately south-east of Grodków, south of Brzeg, and west of the regional capital Opole. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see ''Territorial changes of Poland after World War II''). The Schaffgotsch noble family left a Neo-Gothic palace, today in ruins.
